IID are delighted to announce that as from 1st April 2019, David Brown will become a Director with the practice.
Since joining the practice in 2005 and becoming an Associate in 2011, David has contributed immensely to its success and has personally been involved in the design and administration of several of our most significant projects. He has also been key in developing our Revit 3D modelling skills and BIM capabilities over the past few years.
We are sure that David will grow in his new role and join the other Directors in securing a bright future for IID.

IID’s scheme for the development of Wimbledon High School’s current site, including the new STEAM and Sixth Form buildings, obtained full planning permission in October. IID have produced an immersive VR model, which has informed further design development and assisted the school in communicating their vision for the project to parents, teachers and pupils, to generate support and interest in the scheme.
October Half Term saw completion of Phase 3 of IID’s Building Development Plan at RGS Guildford. The latest phase provides various new spaces including a large Seminar Room and a new MFL Department above the existing school giving impressive views across Guildford. This follows the completion of the John Brown Building and Bridge in 2016 and paves the way for the first of two Atrium infills to the school’s courtyards.
