Bromley High Junior School

IID won a competition to work with Bromley High Junior School in February 2018 on the extension and refurbishment of their Junior school building.

A feasibility study was completed with options for development to suit the project budget and the school’s brief. The scheme includes refurbishment and extension of the Reception Classrooms, a new extension to provide Art, Craft, Cookery, Dance and flexible teaching and learning spaces around a courtyard, refurbishment of part of the existing building to create a new library and improved IT classroom and a new visitor entrance to create a welcoming face to the school.

The result is a contemporary, bright and uncluttered building with the ability to reconfigure the rooms to suit teaching requirements as they continue to evolve.
