Crossways, now Christ the King Sixth Form College, was a pioneering project for its time, designed as an inspirational, ICT-rich sixth form replacing inadequate post-16 facilities in four existing North Lewisham secondary schools. Using off-site prefabricated components and dry construction, the scheme was a model of minimal wastage and was designed and constructed in an 18 month period. The school has since been taken over by Christ the King Aquinas 6th Form College.
In 2006 IID designed the neighbouring Hatcham Oak Childrens Centre following similar principles.
