IID meet once a month for a Design Breakfast which is a chance to learn from each other’s different perspectives, and to refresh our design thinking.
Our last gathering focused on the theme of colour. As architects, we sometimes find ourselves defaulting to shades of neutral, so it was interesting to look at how other designers have introduced playful and joyful elements into their designs, what these colours mean and how they impact our experience and use of space.
